It takes the series to a whole new level by giving the 2D art style a brand new 3D look. The story of the game picks up where the last one left off, with the spirit Ori going on a journey to heal the broken land of Niwen and do what he was meant to do.
Ori and the Will of the Wisps has beautiful 3D environments and detailed character designs that shine throughout the game. The Nintendo Switch version of the game has a Metascore of 93.
Celeste
Celeste is a puzzle platformer made by an independent developer named Matt Makes Games. Players take on the role of Madeline, a young girl who wants to conquer the Celeste mountain and let go of her fears. With its pixelated graphics, Celeste’s art style brings to mind the early days of 2D platform games. The game also looks great thanks to the great job the color palette does of setting the mood.
Celeste is a simple game with familiar controls, but the developers have done a good job of making it a fun and addicting adventure. Cuphead
Cuphead is a 2D run-and-gun game made by Studio MDHR. It is about Cuphead and his brother Mugman, who are trying to pay off their debts. Soon after it came out, Cuphead was praised by critics and became a worldwide hit with gamers. This shooter stands out from the rest because its art style is heavily influenced by the cartoons of the 1930s.
Cuphead is a game with a lot of style and passion. Each stage is carefully and artistically made to keep players interested and entertained.
